Disclaimer: The Weatherford Band's Fan Club Scrip program is not an official Weatherford ISD sponsored program. It is provided as a service to band student family and friends as a means of providing a year-round fundraiser, with credits going directly to the student's spring band trip account.
SCRIP PROGRAM
Welcome to the Weatherford Band Fan Club SCRIP program page. Participation in the SCRIP program is a year-round fundraiser and is a means to providing credit to your band student's spring band trip. What is Scrip? SCRIP is a dollar for dollar value debit card for hundreds of businesses where you likely already shop on a regular basis. Businesses include Wal-Mart, Visa, Best Buy, restaurants, and more. Simply stated, you establish an account with the SCRIP vendor and then order debit style cards for your upcoming shopping or gift giving through an online link coming soon to this website. SCRIP cards will be distributed through the Band Fan Club on a twice-monthly basis . Once you have your cards, present them at checkout just as you would gift or debit cards. Why do it? The SCRIP vendor, immediately upon ordering, rebates a percentage (2% to 10%, and even more on special promotions) of your orders directly to your student's spring trip account.
A document related to enrollment and the ordering of SCRIP is provided below. Please note that one of the necessary steps in participating in the SCRIP program is the establishment of an ACH account through your checking account must be made. Also, please note that any unused credit due to graduation or withdrawal from the band program will result in all credit rolling into the General Fund of the Band Fan Club.
